Bio

Born in South Carolina, Carissa Reid grew up in the Midwest, attended college in West Texas, and migrated to the Northwest to write. Along the way she picked up a Bachelors and a Masters degree, edited a university literary magazine, coordinated events for a large bookstore, and managed a university bookstore. She lives with her husband in a small town in SW Washington, dividing her day between writing fiction and poetry and raising her daughter. Her latest short story received Honorable Mention in L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest.
